Ashes to ashes

Dust to dust - dry January my arse!
Never ever have, or will, I done this and find it bizarre!
Consistency is key and not only am I consistent - but Australian wine is.
Shiraz has been a go to for me over the past few weeks (with a few added exceptions) and not had a bad bottle.
Some rizzys (fizzy reds) too and varied these from the Aldi special to the black of Sainsbury.
Now this bad boy is a change of tactic!
Tactics are key (haven’t worked in the ashes though 🙈🙈🙈)!
A fantastic bottle and worthy of a 2022 tick in the box.
Austrailian wines are right up there with Saffa and the mighty stellenbosch.
This is an emotive topic with some friends and they go all out for French wines - me too at times and enjoyed many ace bottles from all over France.
But tactics are built on bedrocks of proof and consistency - Ozzies have this in abundance and the reason why I go back time and time again.
Actually can’t think I’ve ever had a bad bottle!!!
Cheers 🍷
