Amazing article in the Times today talking about British wines.
800 commercial Vinyard’s in the UK alone and long may it continue.
Firm favs of mine are Nye Timber, Whitecastle, LlaethLliw, Aldwick estate, Furleigh estate and the Velfrey to name a few.
Wales have some fantastic Vinyard’s with great wines.
The problem is accessing them and with mainstream shops and supermarkets not stocking them becomes a difficult and possibly expensive task.
Anyone in Wales, and South Wales reading this.
We have 3 amazing vinyards on our doorstep - Llaethlliw in west Wales and the Sugar loaf and Whitecastle in Abergavenny.
Well worth a Christmas purchase.
