I’ve posted this before but its never appeared on my blog (it’s only a few weeks old!).

Great wine should be shared and complimented with food or people - or both?

Lockdown and covid aside!

Great wine doesn’t have to cost the earth either - but don’t look for the cheapest.

A good price on a bottle, £10 as a minimum, means you’re getting more wine for your money.

Too much initial cost is added to wines and spoils the taste for future slurps if you get a bad one.

A few top tips though to maximise the wine and the investment.

Get decent glasses and ones that suit what you’re drinking.

Get a good aerator (mines in the pic).

Get a good decanter and just give the wine an hour poured and breathing to the room temperature.

Then swig the bugger and enjoy

Wine is an enjoyment - make it count.
