A fantastic country and wine literally everywhere!
We have driven all over it (nearly - a few small bits left) and noticed 2 key things - the fields are either full of Vinyard’s or corn.
Our last tour was 2019 and feels longer ago - who knows when next.
I posted a bottle today that I’m slurping tonight. A fantastic Syrah (or as the Austrailians call Shiraz) and has to be one of my favoured non blended bottles.
Perfectly balanced - the taste, the depth of flavours and the tannings all work well!
Wine should be easy to drink and easier to choose.
An old friend asked me where he should start and my advice is always with a Syrah / Shiraz - so easy to pair with foods.
I don’t eat meat and I’m lockdown we’ve tried and seem to be sticking to the allplants range - ace foods, spicy and tasty - this bottle will work with 90% of their range.
Keep things simple and uncomplicated - that’s my advice!
