I love a good article with science backed studies saying it’s good to have an extra glass - or even a glass full stop!
How many times do we read that experts conclude ........ blah blah blah - fault, weekly, monthly - really?
To be an expert I’d wager you need to know a lot about something - so how and why do experts opinions differ?
Making hay when the sun shines is a damn good saying!
Cutring the lawn makes you sweat and then you need fluid to replenish - Q the bottle please Jeeves!!!
Drinking 6 glasses a week is less than 1 a day and the accompanying with the right food will put a smile on anyone’s face.
I was asked once about a poor bottle - my response was don’t drink it!
But it’s a waste - then drink it!
Binary approach there!
The key is to buy the appropriate wine to start with!
Waiter approaches (remember the retro days of a meal out?!) - they always ask what you’d like to drink before you’ve seen the menu!
Its the wrong way around!
Order your food then pair - ask what would go well with you meal and pair it up.
Easy rule of thumb - the habits of eateries is potty and if we try and change the way we approach wine at home it will pave the way to much better and enjoyable experiences.
April kicks off tomorrow and an American month - The Nappa Valley will be a focus.
Looking forward to exploring what’s around.
My first focus for this weekend with be the Barefoot range - the whole range - all available in stores like Tesco, Asda and co!
