Mid week - Wednesday Wine?

The ponderance of of a mid-week glass of wine is with me today.

If I do have one ill know it will be the end of a bottle - and my rule of thumb is Thursday to Saturday!

Now Wales play France in the grand slam decider and given March is a French wine month and the fact I've a lot of French wine in the racks (yes racks - plural - more than ***) it would be rude not too have a snifter and lead into Saturday nicely - with a gap in between!

Someone asked me on the weekend if the fine wines were worth it.

They also asked the same old question about the punts at the bottom of the bottles.

This got me thinking about this blog and what cool things I can include! - yes bottle reviews, country months, special occasion bottles and pairing correctly with foods.

But a question is about quality and cost - is there a divide?

Posh people buy expensive wine!

Really? - i'm not posh and I don't compromise on bottles - but equally ive spellbinding crackers that cost less than £6 (see the wine society, ND John, Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda) for some absolute amazing bottles and the only one in the pictures that was in double figures was the Chilean Diablo (£10 at the time).

A cool article in the Times over the weekend spelled (or spelt - never know which one to use) it out for me.

We buy expensive cause we think its best!
