Anyone know how much I need to include in a blog post?
Actually I can make it up as I go along - no rules and if there are they are by my making!
Similarly to what the fab Vinyard’s of Wales are doing!
The 17 are being heralded globally as amazing slurps and a review by a chap from the times (what a job 😋😋😋) said the wines rock.
I know they do as I’ve had every style of bottle they do.
Supporting the 17 isn’t difficult and it’s a 2 fold - gets you seeing Wales and going for a spin - but more importantly avoiding the mundane Tesco and Asda (plus others) stock that so needs an overhaul!
Whitecastle vinyard in Abergavenny
👌👌👌
The next time you celebrate something - take a trip and get a sparkling that’s Made In Wales 😋😋😋🏴🏴🏴
White Castle Vineyard, Monmouthshire, Wales
All the tours here are led by one of the owners — a married couple who tend to the vines themselves and live in an old converted dairy parlour on site — and end with a tasting on a terrace with views over the vineyard. Close to the market towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth, the estate is surround by lush green countryside and covers 12 acres of gentle sloping ground, where pinot noir, rondo and seyval blanc varieties of grape are grown, among others. Platters of local cheese, charcuterie and seafood can be ordered alongside the wine tasting.
Details Tours are planned to begin again in May and will cost £15; whitecastlevineyard.com
