Starting in wine

I’ve been asked a few times (every week for the past year) where you can start with wine and how much to spend.

I tend to spend a minimum of £10 in bottles unless I see a bargain.

I aim to try as many as I can and explore obscure and sometimes rare bottles that I’ve never seen in shops.

My shops are wine stores, Tesco, Asda, lidl, aldi, Waitrose (one of my favs - better value and mega choices) and Sainsburys (they stock ace fizzy reds too!).

The picture shows Barefoot and Yellow Tail and prices accross a seriously good range of grape variety.

My advice has always been to try and see.

So many options and the tastes are fantastic - and ace prices.

These will a great place to start👌👌👌🍷👍
